The Bias in the Room

While the Pilates industry is becoming more aware of the body discrimination it has encouraged and upheld, we are still in a space of not honoring all bodies and trying to hide the biases that keep us from seeing our people.

In this session, we will discuss where our own biases may originate from, how our clients see themselves and their bodies based on their own experiences and how this could be creating a seemingly quiet conflict that is screaming loud and clear that we still have a long way to go with welcoming all bodies and appreciating them as they are.
